Not recommendable at all. Price / performance misleading. Small portions for a lot of money. We ordered pumpkin soup and cheese spaetzle, waited over half an hour for the meal. The cream in the soup was curdled, the spaetzle served with a long hair. Fried onions from the bag.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired (glasses, tablecloths) Food was also not the yellow of the egg

Actually 0 stars, had cheese spaetzle with indefinable fried onions and a 30 cm hair. And that after 40 minutes of waiting.

We loved the food and dessert so much that we ate here several times during our week-long vacation. fantastic!!!

In general everything was good! The meat dishes my friends had were good (Nuremberg's sausages and Schweinshaxen), the desert was very nice (Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesosse), I just wasn't very happy with my Kaesespaezle. All in all, if you are a meat lover, I think you should try it.

Very nice host. Food, as always, very rich and very good. Always very happy to go there.

I haven't had such a lousy meal served in the whole of Franconia as in this restaurant. The knuckle meat was covered with a seasoned ready-made sauce. The supposedly roasted dumplings came out of the deep fryer. No thanks, never again my stomach turns around now.

Nice roof terrace, delicious food, nice staff, good prices

The service was okay, but the chef missed his job. The food was far from good. Price / performance ratio is not right at all. Not really recommended.

Very tasty but way too expensive. For a schnitzel "Viennese style" with french fries € 17 is definitely too much. Unfortunately, waiting times are also relatively high with moderate rush.

To avoid. Very unpleasant reception. Excessive wait: 45 minutes when the restaurant is 3/4 empty. 3 different dishes salted to excess. To better sell drinks? In particular homemade sparkling water, served from a pitcher and charged at € 6 for 75 cl.

Food was really good and the outside area has a great view of the main market. The staff is super nice.

Absolutely not to be recommended ... Service a disaster ... Waiting time for the food over 90 minutes .. then it was only lukewarm .. the taste was okay .. but this waiting time was also very hungry .. Lots of choice here on the main square .. would definitely choose another

Super delicious food and nice atmosphere

Thanks to the beautiful renovation, you can enjoy the food even more. The food as you can imagine (the shovel and girlfriend had the roast pork) the shovel was presented beautifully with the knife in it, the roast pork with 2 dumplings was also very tasty. The service was very competent and nice Only to be recommended :)

Sitting on the roof terrace with a wonderful view, combining the perfect asparagus with the special request "Grandma's roasting loaf" and enjoying bite by bite. Special requests were easily accepted and prepared. Particularly praiseworthy is the friendly waiter, who spoils his guests very carefully and politely. I'm already looking forward to my next time here in Nuremberg

What a wonderful surprise. Not only the food is outstanding, but the service is very kind and helpful for non German speaking guests. You may judge for the small door on the entrance and not many sigs, but you will be mesmerized by the local and outstanding quality of the traditional plates. Highly recommended.

A very good restaurant. I was in Nuremberg for a fair and we had dinner in this place. The restaurant is typical and well-kept. The menu features local dishes that really taste great. Very good service and on time. The bill proportioned to what we ate. I recommend it and I think I'll be back if I come to Nuremberg again.

The waiter lady was EXTREMELY rude to foreigners, although she admitted she was indeed an immigrant from Serbia! Now this is some hypocrisy there. Not only she had mistaken orders three times, she yelled at us and billed the more expensive food we did not order. Food was good though, but 1 start because of worst staff ever.

Do not come here, you will waste your time on overpriced food (but I get it - it is a really nice location). The staff is not communicating wells but the worst one of them is the elderly lady fussing about any request, mistaking orders and being simply impolite to us speaking English and trying to teach us German instead. Will never come back there.

Terrible! Rude waitress, the old lady was tired of serving, small portions. They serviced the dishes without forks and they didn't give attention. We didn't suggest you to be there.

Staff is very friendly, food was rather mediocre. Portions quite small and a little overpriced for the price. Extra requests were taken into account, but also billed properly. I wanted cheese spaetzle instead of normal, that cost 2.50 € extra. I thought it was cheeky! Rustic furnishings, table stuck. We will not consider another visit.

Good choice of food. Great views over Christmas Market. Good lager. Excellent service, although they did bring 1 of the mains before the starter had been finished, but it was freshly cooked and hot 👍

Went only for beer. Terrace was good. Service was average. Expensive. Touristy. Needs upgrades.

Abysmally slow service. Food average but to be honest after waiting an hour I didn't care. Half of what we ordered didn't arrive anyway. Avoid!!!

Terrible food with indifferent service

Really old and used place. Food was mediocre and the service was terrible, as we were ignored most of the time.

The Nackensteak meal was the best meal I've had in Germany. Wife had weiner schnitzel and it was good too. Service was great and friendly.

Very old and low quality food

The Food is quite pricey, compared to other restaurants, the taste was good but small potions and the chef needs to put in more love into the preparation. Toilets were a bit smelly and dirty. The view is very nice and the owner seems very friendly.
